MORNING TRIP -We will collect you from your hotel between 09:30 and 09:45, and drive you down to the Marina to rendezvous with our yacht for the morning. Sailing out of Funchal Bay, we head for Cabo Girão, the highest sea cliff in Europe. As part of your morning trip we will stop for a swim, then enjoy a light snack and a long drink whilst admiring the breathtaking views. We return back to the magnificent bay of Funchal, disembarking at 13:00. AFTERNOON TRIP - We meet you at the Santinho Restaurant, Funchal Marina at 14.00. By 14:15 we are already enjoying the bay of Funchal aboard your yacht for the afternoon as we head for Cabo Girão, the highest sea cliff in Europe. During the course of the afternoon we will take the time to stop for a light snack and a long drink whilst admiring the views. After a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon at sea, we return to the Marina at 17:00. SUNSET TRIP - Meeting at Santinho Restaurant at the stipulated time we board our yacht and leave Funchal with the magnificent late afternoon sunshine shimmering over the bay. One and a half hours after sunset, we return to view the spectacular night lights of Funchal. With a bit of luck we may even see the dolphins that frequent the local waters. As the sun sets, a serving of Honey Cake and a glass of Madeira Wine make the perfect accompaniment to this unforgettable trip. FAJÂ DOS PADRES - "Fajã" means a landfall at the base of a cliff forming a beach-like landing and "Padres" means Priests; a land plantation belonging to priests. Previously a home to the clergy, now a wonderful wine farm at the foot of a breathtaking cliff of 350 metres. This plantation has a unique quaint restaurant, and wonderful swimming facilities with warm showers, etc. Until 1998, the only real access to Fajã dos Padres was by sea, although now there is a modern glass lift in operation. With your yacht moored 350m below, you can really grasp the spectacular magnitude of this wonder! Note: This programme can be operated in reverse i.e. Yacht first, drive back to Funchal, this will be decided on the day.
